Our streamlined process is built for speed and transparency; simply send us your gear, and we’ll use real-time market data to ensure a quick sale. Best of all, you won’t be waiting months for your money. We settle accounts promptly, with payouts delivered via EFT by the 10th of every month. It’s never been easier to turn your spare clubs into fast cash!

1. Pricing & Sales Authority

To get you the best result, we need to be agile. Shams Golf Exchange holds sole discretion over the initial listing price and any subsequent markdowns. We monitor market trends daily to ensure your clubs are priced to move, not sit on a shelf.

2. Commission & Fees

We keep it transparent. Our commission is 30% of the Net Sale.

How we calculate it: (Final Sale Price) - (Actual Shipping Cost to Buyer) - (Sale Platform Fees) = Net Sale. Your payout is 70% of that Net Sale.

3. The 90-Day Handshake

By consigning with us, you agree to leave your items for a minimum of 90 days.

Early Withdrawal: If you change your mind and want your clubs back before the 90 days are up, a $30 administrative and photography fee applies per item.

4. Getting Paid

We settle our books at the end of every month. You will receive your funds via EFT on or before the 10th of the following month, provided the buyer's 7-day return window has closed and funds have cleared our platform.

5. Local Pickup (40km Radius)

Based near Doncaster East (3109)? If you have a massive clear-out of 10 or more individual products (note: an iron set counts as 1 product), we may be able to come to you! This service is at our discretion and subject to availability.

If you're outside our local pickup radius, getting your gear to us is still easy. Most of our consignors across Australia use the following simple steps:

A. Get Your Valuation First

Before you head to the post office, make sure you've sent your photos through via WhatsApp. We will provide a preliminary "Green Light" and an estimated valuation so you know it's worth the trip.

B. Pack Like a Pro

Golf clubs are tough, but the post can be rough!

  • The Box: If you don't have a box, stop by a local golf shop—they usually have spares from their new inventory they are happy to give away.

  • Protection: Use bubble wrap or even old newspaper to secure the club heads (especially woods and drivers) to prevent them from knocking together during transit.

C. Send It Our Way

  • Shipping Costs: The cost of shipping the clubs to us is covered by the Consignor (you).

  • Tracking & Insurance: We strongly recommend using a tracked service with signature on delivery. Shams Golf Exchange is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged in transit to us.

D. We’ll Confirm Arrival

As soon as your package lands, we’ll send you a message to confirm it’s arrived safely. Our team will then perform the final physical inspection and get your gear live on the site!

6. Authenticity & Condition

We only sell the real deal. Any counterfeit items will be rejected immediately. If fakes are identified after arrival, they will be returned at your expense plus a $30 inspection fee.

7. Risk & Liability

While your gear is in our hands, we treat it like our own. However, all items are held at the Consignor’s risk. Shams Golf Exchange is not liable for accidental damage, fire, theft, or minor "shop wear" from handling during the sales process.
